Stark County Park District

The Stark County Park District features 13 parks, 4 lakes, and nearly 60 miles of hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails, including 25 miles of the historic Ohio & Erie National Heritage Canalway for hikers, bicycle riders, equestrians and nature lovers of all ages. The park district runs two marinas that feature motor boats, row boats, canoes, kayaks for rent by the hour. Pontoon boat rides are offered with two-week's advance reservations. Picnic and banquet facilities and guided activities are also available.
