The City of Massillon Parks and Recreation Department will be holding the 7th annual Sippo Valley Rail Run 5K and 10K races on Sunday, September 23. The races will depart the Massillon Recreation Center at 9:00 a.m. Runners will receive a t-shirt and there will be awards for the top finishers. The race will run along the Towpath Trail again this year. Racers can register at the Massillon Recreation Center or online at www.ohiochallengeseries.com. There are no age restrictions for participants. Same day registration will begin at 7:30 am on Sunday. This race is made possible with the help of YWCA of Western Stark County, Affinity Medical Center, Red Star, Dick's Sporting Goods, Pepsi, Subway and Shearer's.
