Contest & Regulations
By submitting your photo to the contest, the Entrant (party submitting photo) hereby agrees that all photographs submitted shall become property of the Canton/Stark County Convention & Visitor's Bureau (hereinafter "CSCCVB"). CSCCVB reserves the non-exclusive right to use any photograph(s) in publications or for promotional purposes. By submitting the photo, the Entrant also acknowledges that any person(s) appearing in submitted photograph(s) have given the Entrant and the CSCCVB consent (including consent from parental authorities for any minor) for reproduction and promotional use.
How to Enter
The contest begins on June 1, 2012. The contest will close on July 31, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. All entries must be submitted before 11:59 p.m. on July 31, 2012. Any entries received after 11:59 p.m. on July 31, 2012 will not be counted.
To enter, participants must email their photo to photos@visitcantonstark.com along with their name, address and phone number. A confirmation email will be sent within 72 hours to the email address that submitted the photo notifying you that your information was received. All entries become property of the Canton/Stark County Convention & Visitors' Bureau.
Winning Entry
The grand prize winner of the "I ♥ STARK " photo contest held by the Canton/Stark County Convention & Visitors' Bureau will win one $250 gas card. All entries submitted will be automatically entered in a random drawing for the grand prize $250 gas card. The winner of this drawing will be notified via email and phone call using the information provided on the winning entry and has 48 hours to respond. If the prize winner does not respond within 48 hours or is unable to be reached because of inaccurate email address or phone number provided, the winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner selected. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received by the contest deadline.
The $250 gas card is non-transferable; may not be exchanged or substituted; cannot be redeemed for cash; and must be taken in its entirety; no substitutions permitted. Taxes, if any, are the responsibility of the individual winner.
Public voting will take place August 6-12, 2012. The public will vote for their favorite photos in the categories of best photo and most creative photo. The Canton/Stark County CVB will create a guest panel of judges who will select one photo as Judges Choice. Prizes will be given accordingly.
Eligibility
No purchase necessary. Contest is open to all legal residents of the United States. Employees of the Canton/Stark County Convention & Visitors' Bureau and their immediate family members (parents, children, siblings, spouses) and persons living in the same household (whether related or not), are not eligible to participate in the contest. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited.
Winner List
For a list of winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the Canton/Stark County Convention & Visitors' Bureau, Attention: Photo Contest Winner List, 222 Market Ave. N, Canton, Ohio 44702. Requests received more than two (2) months after the contest ends will not be processed.
General Conditions
Contest participants agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions and by the decisions of the Canton/Stark County Convention & Visitors' Bureau, which are final and binding as to all matters related to the Contest. Disputes will be valid only if asserted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted with a Contest entry. By entering, participants release and hold harmless the Canton/Stark County Convention & Visitors' Bureau, any Contest sponsor, or any of their respective affiliates, agents, officials and employees from any and all liability for injuries, loss, damage, or expense of any kind arising from or in connection with the Contest or any prize won. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.
Disclosure Statement
Personal information will not be shared or sold to other companies but may be used by the Canton/Stark County Convention & Visitors Bureau to send company updates and announcements.

Participation in this contest is completely voluntary, and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose requested information. The Canton/Stark County Convention & Visitors' Bureau may occasionally contact survey participants with special offers and other information. At that time, users will have the option to opt-out of receiving any further information or offers from the Canton/Stark County Convention & Visitors' Bureau. The Canton/Stark County Convention & Visitors' Bureau will not provide personal information collected via this contest to other businesses or organizations for direct marketing purposes.
