Various community service groups provide Christmas elegance throughout the Hoover family homestead for families to enjoy.Musician adds ambiance with Christmas melodies. Santa & Mrs. Claus greet children of all ages and happy to receive wish lists. Bring your camera for photos and Historical Center staff will take a family photo that will include Dad, Mom, Grandpa, Grandma, as desired, with the family camera. Free t-shirt drawing; gingerbread houses displayed throughout provided by local Girl Scouts and available for raffle.Ladies in vintage attire bake cookies in old-fashioined stove -- an enourmous holiday celebration includes home-baked cookies and hot chocolate. Free admission. Christmas caroling on horse-drawn wagon another option-small fee.
