Hot sun, blue sky, warm breeze – what better place to enjoy the beautiful weather we’re having than out on the greens? Stark County certainly has plenty of greens to offer with over 20 public golf courses to play!

There are courses spread across every corner of the county. Spend a day exploring some the area’s quaint towns and historic villages before or after a round of golf at Lake View, Sable Creek or Seven Hills in Hartville, and Lyons Den or Rolling Green in Canal Fulton.
Or, maybe a luxurious resort experience is more your style? If so, than a stay at The Bertram Inn at Glenmoor Country Club is right on par. Glenmoor features a private 7,018 yard, par 72 Jack Nicklaus Signature Course. Guests of the Bertram Inn have access to tee times and to many fabulous country club amenities such as the world class European spa & salon and three on-site restaurants.
You don’t have to be a skilled golfer to have fun – trust me I speak from experience! But if you feel that a little practice is in order, then make your first stop Edgewood Golf Club’s practice facility and 9-hole course.
If on the other hand you are more interested in a challenge try out the target-style course at The Quarry Golf Club, a finalist in the Best of Stark County award category for Best Public Golf Course. Tam O’Shanter Golf Course was the winner of the honor, voted on by over 4,000 local residents. Other past finalists for Best Public Golf Course include The Legends of Massillon, The Sanctuary Golf Club, and The Fairways at Arrowhead.
The options seem endless and there are certainly too many to list them all here, but no matter what course you select you are sure to have a good time! Check out some special offers at area courses on our sister website www.ohiogolfcapital.com.
