Photo Shoot at the Canton Garden Center

This week we had a rare occurrence in the Marshall household, peace and quiet. My 4-year old son Marcus and I were home alone for the afternoon. So I decided to take advantage of the semi-spring weather and do something both fun and productive. Although slightly overcast it was a warm day so I got little Marcus dressed and headed out on my mission.

He was thrilled as I pulled into the Garden Center at Stadium Park. While enjoying an afternoon in the park, I attempted a photo shoot! It was the perfect location to burn off some energy, and a great setting for photos.  We had perfect timing, pulling in just as the music from clock tower bells filled the air.

I let Marcus take the lead and followed behind with camera aimed and ready. The Garden Center was full of sculptures, trails and kid-friendly activity areas. We explored the mini-playhouse and log picnic table, ran through the old shoe garden, played a few notes on “stomping chimes”, and even got to pet a dinosaur! It was perfect for my little explorer, and I was able to capture some great candid moments to stock my picture frames.
