ArtisAlive, the eclectic indie music and art show hosted by ArtsinStark, returns to the Cultural Center for the Art for a weekend blitz on Friday, April 13 (from 6 -10 p.m.) and Saturday, April 14 (from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.) Themed “Not for the Faint of Art,” both artists
and patrons are encouraged to dress up in hospital garb – horrifying or healing – on Friday night to shop, listen, dance and indulge along with 45 vendors and two stages of live music.
Artists peddling their wares in pottery, glass, ceramic, acrylic, metal, fabric, paper and of course jewelry will be offering one-of-a-kind handmade treasures at affordable prices.
Food will be available from Tozzi’s and the chefs at the Cultural Center. And the bar will be offering beverages, for the 21 and over crowd, including a Heart Attack specialty drink.
Music includes: Market Avenue, Misery Jackals, Spotlight Theatre, and White Pines on Friday night. Saturday entertainment includes DJ Chris Daniels, Thom Ebersole, Ashley Brook Toussant and Dolly Rocker Ragdoll. Shorts from the Canton Film Fest will be shown on Saturday afternoon.
