1. Halloween at the Boo-seum: Oct. 26
The annual Halloween party and Trick or Treat in the Street of Shops and Discover World at the McKinley Presidential Library and Museum is always a fun event. Kids can enjoy hayrides (weather permitting), costume judging, scavenger hunt, science shows and much more.
2. The Speedbumps at the Symphony: Oct. 26
Kent, Ohio based acoustic band, The Speedbumps, will share the stage with the Canton Symphony Orchestra to present a contemporary collaboration of their award winning songs.
3. Spooky Science: Oct. 26 & 27
Take the kids to Beech Creek Botanical Garden & Nature Preserve to explore the natural world. Your kids will learn without even knowing it at the many “Goose Bumps” Activity Stations. Learn about creepy crawlers, paint a pumpkin, or go on a night hike around the property.
4. Nickajack Farms Halloween Bash: Oct. 26
Enjoy a night down on the farm at Nickajack Farms Halloween Bash. There will be plenty of fun activities including a costume contest, bonfire, scavenger hunt, pumpkin decorating contest, coloring contest and more.
5. Silent Film: The Phantom of the Opera: Oct. 28
Enjoy “The Phantom of the Opera” from 1925 starring Lon Chaney with organ accompaniment by Jay Spencer, and featuring guest vocalists at the historic Canton Palace Theatre.
