Hula Hoop Fun at the Massillon Museum Island Party
You’ll find lots of good “olde” fashioned fun at Olde Canal Days in Canal Fulton. Enjoy all of your favorite festival foods, amusement rides, fireworks, parades and even a pageant. While you’re in Canal Fulton, take a canal boat ride along the historic Ohio & Erie Canal, a trip down memory lane at Toys Time Forgot or live glass blowing demonstrations at Canal Fulton Glassworks.
2. Massillon Museum Island Party: July 13
The Massillon Museum Island Party is one annual event you won’t want to miss! Listen to reggae music while enjoying the pig roast and family-friendly activities.
3. Birding for Kids: July 14
Get the kids outside and back to nature this weekend at the Wilderness Center’s Birding for Kids event. The kids will learn to sing like a bird, eat like a bird, and play bird bingo!
4. Market Street Art Spot Featured Artist Reception: July 13
Meet featured artist, Marty Chapman, at the Market Street Art Spot in Minerva this Friday from 5pm to 9 pm. Champman, a wood-turning artist, is June’s featured artist at the Art Spot.
5. Hartville Hardware Grand Opening Celebration: July 13-14
If you haven’t already been to the new Hartville Hardware, what are you waiting for? This weekend they’ll celebrate their official grand opening with deals, discounts and great giveaways like a Dyson vacuum cleaner.

Your Stark County Terriers will be in Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League baseball action on Friday, 07/13/12 at 5 PM vs the Dayton Docs. Then, on Saturday, 07/15/12 they will take on the Lima Locos for a 3 PM doubleheader. Finally, on Sunday, 07/16/12, the Terriers will take on the Grand Lake Mariners for a 3 PM doubleheader. All games are at Walsh University Field in North Canton. Admission and Parking is *FREE!*
