Here are five ideas of things to keep you busy this Easter weekend!
1. First Friday – Sew Artistic
You don’t need to be a fashionista to get into the groove of April 6th’s First Friday, themed Sew Artistic. Even those who don’t know their tweed from their tulle will be biased about another great night in the Canton Arts District. Needle your friends to make it a date!
2. Hartville MarketPlace Easter Celebration
Head to the Hartville MarketPlace for an afternoon of Easter themed fun. The Fish Radio will be on hand with their prize wheel and kids can enjoy a coloring contest. The celebration takes place from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sat., April 7.
3. Winery Tour at Gervasi Vineyard
Get a behind the scenes look at the winery at Gervasi Vineyard on Sat., April 7, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.. Tours are free, last approximately 20-30 mins. and start every half hour.
4. Candy Scrambles
Join Massillon Parks & Recreation for some Easter fun at their Candy Scrambles on Sat., April 7. The first, Egg & Candy Scramble, will take place from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Genshaft Park and is geared towards kids ages 10 and under. The second, After Dark Candy Scramble, will take place at the Massillon Recreation Center from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and is geared towards kids 11+. Both events are free!
5. Fill Your Belly at an Easter Buffet
