A non-profit nature center located in southwest Stark County. 10 miles of hiking trails include prairies, old growth forest, a lake, a pond, a lookout tower. Hiking program to earn a hand carved hiking staff and pin for each year. A nature store, an interactive display room and an animal observation area. Free admission and programming for families to include Astronomy, Bird and Butterfly walks, Geology, Botany and more. 12 Clubs including: Woodcarving, Storytelling, Birding, Botanizers, Geocaching, Needlecrafting, Nature Photography, Caving & Climbing, Backpacking, Flyfishing & Amateur Radio.

The Wilderness Center is the perfect place for Team Building and provides geocaching for your team on our trails. Also perfect for weddings, meetings and more. Five rooms to rent and a full kitchen. Three picnic shelters to rent.
