The National First Ladies' Library is the only one of its kind educating the public of the contributions made by our countries first ladies as well as other notable women in our history. The tour consists of both of our buildings; the 1895 renovated bank building and the 1840s Victorian home. Our guided one and one-half hour tours begin in our Education & Research Center located at 205 Market Ave South viewing our main exhibit in the Museum before proceeding to the Saxton McKinley House where you are guided through with a costumed docent. This is the family home of First Lady Ida Saxton McKinley built in the 1840s by her grandfather and is also dedicated the Historic Home of President William McKinley.
