Day 1
First Ladies National Historic Site
Celebrate the accomplishments of your fellow women at the opulent and informative National First Ladies Historic Site. Get a glimpse of a bygone era as you tour the home of the First Lady, Ida Saxton McKinley. This stately Victorian-style home has been restored with great attention to historical accuracy and is the only institution dedicated to the contributions of our nation's first ladies. Then stroll through the Victorian Rose Garden to the First Ladies Education and Research Center to see beautiful displays compliments of our Presidential First Ladies.
Lunch at Canton Woman's Club
Canton has many beautiful examples of Victorian Gothic Homes; one of the most notable is the Canton Woman's Club. It was originally the home of John R. Bucher, a successful Canton businessman and partner of Bucher and Gibbs Plow Company. He built the house, which still retains most of its original interior features in 1867 for his family. The Women's Club is known for their delectable dishes - but be sure to ask to have their famous "sticky-buns" on your menu.
Studio Arts & Glass
Discover beautiful Stained glass, handcrafted jewelry, unique gifts and hand blown glass at this one of a kind stained glass factory and gift shop. Take a behind the scenes tour and watch their masterful artisans creating windows right before your eyes. Your group can also get in touch with their creative side and do a craft project led by one of Studio Arts and Glass's knowledgeable staff.

No Girlfriends Getaway is complete without savoring some decadent chocolate, and no chocolate can compete with Harry London's famous recipes. Take a tour and watch your favorite concoctions created in front of your very eyes. The best part of this tour is the SAMPLES!!!!!!!
