Cane Burning? – no don’t take granny’s cane from her! “Cane” is another word for the grape vines that they have trimmed from their vineyards this spring. The canes have been gathered into a HUGE pile behind the farm market and winery by the hilltop pavilion. Maize Valley promises you an evening of food, music and fun!
Relive the magic and remember the fun of the fabulous 50′s for a day. The Hartville MarketPlace will be turned into a 1950′s drive-in where you can share an old-fashioned root beer float for only $1.25 or bop to live 50′s tunes with the local singing trio AWB from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. MarketPlace employees and shop owners will be dressed in 50′s attire, and customers are encouraged to join in the fun. There will also be vintage cars on display, and other fun and games are planned throughout the day.
