Enjoy dinner and the music of Tony Bennett on February 19 at Tozzi’s on 12th. On Saturday, February 13, travel back in time to an era of leather jackets, poodle skirts and patent leather shoes as the Hartville MarketPlace & Flea Market hosts its annual 50′s-style valentine celebration.
Relive the magic and remember the fun of the fabulous 50′s for a day. The Hartville MarketPlace will be turned into a 1950′s drive-in where you can share an old-fashioned root beer float for only $1.25 or bop to live 50′s tunes with the local singing trio AWB from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. MarketPlace employees and shop owners will be dressed in 50′s attire, and customers are encouraged to join in the fun. There will also be vintage cars on display, and other fun and games are planned throughout the day.
You could also win a one night stay at Quail’s Covey Bed & Breakfast in the grand prize giveaway. Enjoy a stay in their Dogwood Suite featuring a king-size four poster bed, sitting room complete with a chase lounge chair and view of the lake, and spacious private bath with large Jacuzzi tub and double head shower. The drawing will be at 2:15 p.m. and you must be present to win.

Maize Valley has a special Valentine’s Weekend planned with fabulous food, fantastic music and of course wine! February 12 features special musical guests Mike Lenz and Peggy Coyle and February 13 will feature Brad Bolton and Peggy Cole.
Reservations are now being accepted for both nights (and are suggested). Those who make reservations early will receive a commemorative etched wine glass. Special menu options include 10 oz Delmonico Steak & Twice Baked Potato, Chicken Cordon Bleu & Twice Baked Potato, Herb Marinated Grilled Salmon Served with Rice Pilaf , and Lasagna.
