Valentine’s Weekend at Maize Valley Market & Winery

Maize Valley has a special Valentine’s Weekend planned with fabulous food, fantastic music and of course wine! February 12 features special musical guests Mike Lenz and Peggy Coyle and February 13 will feature Brad Bolton and Peggy Cole.

Reservations are now being accepted for both nights (and are suggested).  Those who make reservations early will receive a commemorative etched wine glass.  Special menu options include 10 oz Delmonico Steak & Twice Baked Potato, Chicken Cordon Bleu & Twice Baked Potato,  Herb Marinated Grilled Salmon Served with Rice Pilaf , and Lasagna.

Light and creamy, decadent port wine mousse served in a chocolate dipped, commemorative wine glass will be served at intermission.

Maize Valley Introduces Vintner’s Dinners

Maize Valley Market & Winery in Hartville has introduced a new event for 2010, the Vintner’s Dinner series. These monthly five course dinners on the third Thursday of every month feature delicious, locally grown foods prepared in the kitchens of Maize Valley. The January Vintner’s Dinner is scheduled for Thursday, January 21 and will include dishes like Red Wine Roasted Pork Tenderloin and Molton Chocolate Lava Cake.

Each of the five courses will be accompanied by a wine flight pairing (2-3 ounces) of a Maize Valley Wine that has been carefully selected to compliment and enhance the food with which it is paired.
